This very thick classic beanie not only provides excellent protection from the cold, but the animal-free Peace Silk lining keeps your hair from drying out and fluffing up. The beanie is very stretchy and fits all head sizes. It can be worn with a turn-up or in a loose beanie style.

Specific References

A great advantage of wool is the fact that it rarely needs to be washed due to its odor and stain resistant properties. Regular airing is sufficient.

However, if you feel the need to wash your cap, proceed as with the care of silk:

We recommend washing your cap by hand briskly in cold water (max. 30 degrees) or in the washing machine (gentle cycle/program for silk/wool).

Use only gentle detergent for wool/silk. In the last rinse cycle, you can also add a dash of vinegar, which, with its alkaline properties, ensures that the fibers lay nicely smooth. The vinegar smell will dissipate as the fabric dries.

Afterwards, do not wring out the fabric, but only squeeze it lightly in a towel and dry it lying down. Avoid direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Note that pilling (knotting) is a natural process and may appear after a while of wearing. In our experience, this rarely happens with merino wool.
